Hi!
My name is Anders Dahl Tollestrup. I’m a photographer living in Southern Denmark and I have a history as a professional photographer in the Real-Estate business, but I also had my share of weddings, family session and business portraits.
These days I’m more into landscape photography, but also love shooting people for my microstock business, where I’m an exclusive contributing photographer for iStock and Getty Images.
Microstock, what’s that ?
Microstock is a business model where images are sold for commercial and editorial purposes through big agencies like Getty Images, Shutterstock and Adobe Stock. Images are sold for a very low price, but sold many times to different clients all over the world.
Images can be of any kind; landscapes, citylife, objects, details, etc., but the highest sellers are people lifestyle.
My background & where I’m heading …
I started back in 2008 as an event photographer for the Danish Scout and Guide Association and after some years of volunteering work, I moved on to the wedding business where I have shot more than 50 lovely couples in Denmark and Italy. In 2014 I started in the Real-Estate business where I have photographed more than 5000 homes for Real-Estate agents in Denmark. During my time in the Real-Estate business I have also shot many portraits of Real-Estate agents, politicians and other business people who need a new portrait for their business, LinkedIn profile, etc.
After Covid-19 my wife and I got the opportunity to relocate to Italy, where we lived and worked in southern Umbria for 18 months..
Recently we returned to Denmark after I joined Energinet, where work as an IT Infrastructure Architect.
So now my photography is more a side hustle, where I mainly shoot for iStock / Getty as mentioned previously and enjoy landscape photography, where you experience the nature and get a lot of fresh air - and some stunning images, hopefully ….
